Safeguarding

Ensuring the safety of our students is a collective duty. Everyone associated with our school, whether staff, volunteers, or service providers, shares the obligation to comprehend and apply this policy and its protocols at all times, both during and beyond regular school hours, including off-site activities.

The DSL for the school is Anthony Merriman. He can be contacted via admin@newavenueschool.co.uk

The Deputy DSL is Clare Priday.

All staff / visitors / pupils can also report their safeguarding concerns to our Chair of Governors: Teresa Coxford (teresacoxford@me.com), or our governer who oversees safeguarding: PC Richard Williams. They can also report their concerns to the Hampshire LADO team and/or Ofsted.

Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy can be found in our Policies.
